Palisad dormitories
Everything you need to know about living in the Skoltech dormitories
In 2020 we have opened the Palisad dormitory complex on the territory of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. It is within walking distance of the campus. The complex consists of 5 modern dormitory buildings, each with 6 floors of living space for more than 190 students. Master's students are accommodated in 4-6 people apartments, up to 4 people per room. PhD students are accommodated in 2-4 people apartments, with up to 3 people per room.
location
The Palisad Dormitory complex is located on the Skolkovo territory, within a 20-minute walking distance from Skoltech (or a 5-minute drive). The Skolkovo territory has several free shuttles circulating every 10-15 minutes.

Palisad is part of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, which means students get access to the same facilities as all Skolkovo residents:

  • Good transport infrastructure, including bicycles and free transportation on the Skolkovo territory.
  • Food & shopping locations, including grocery stores, cafés, restaurants and many other things. There are some malls for shopping and entertainment within a comfortable driving distance.
  • Skolkovo sports & recreation facilities and parks
  • Separate garbage collection and utilization

Payment procedure starting on June 1, 2021
If you choose to continue living in the dormitories for the fees indicated above, here is how the payment procedure will work:

    1. On 3rd-8th day of each month, you will be receiving an email with an invoice to be paid by the 10th day of the month. Pay attention: invoice for accommodation and for damages\fines or fees are separate.

    2. You will need to follow the QR code, use your mobile banking app or visit a bank office to pay each invoice separately stating clearly the number of invoices on payment documents.

    3. In case the invoice isn't paid within 2 months, we are free to waive the amount together with penalties from your scholarship based on a signed agreement at the time of your arrival. Of course, we will try to remind you about outstanding invoices, still, this stays on our goodwill (not obligatory action from our side). We do not recommend waiting until this moment because that might cause a big amount deduction at once what can affect your monthly budget plans.

    4. In case you are leaving the apartment (checking out), the final invoices will reach you several days after you have checked out on the standard day of invoices mass-sending.
